The importance of storyboards

And back to animation again.
I wish more so called "directors" would understand the value of a good preproduction plan.
you dont have to bee a animation geek to make a storyboard, but you have to be a responsable Director to make a film fit in the budget, and storyboards help you not to waste time and money,special if it is your money.

Something complety different

Now, here i begin with something more for live action. I wrote some stories that are more of a Lovecraftian feel to it. They are pretty much developed in written form, but i never really thought of making a film until i did this scketch...what if i make this in live action, much like the old Hammer, and Universal monsters films??...humm...

A concept sketch for a promo.

This one was a freebe done for a animation company, it was a adaptation from designs in 2d for a animation series project, but due to the lack of professionalism from the director and producer, the collaboration came to an end.
Moral of the story: if you work for free, people will not respect you.

Heres an oldie. This character was suposed to be part of a series of adventures created by himself in a imaginary world. Right... very original....

Old Stuff

In creative areas theres always stories that remain untold, projects that never see the light of day, and concepts that are keept in drawers .
So i will open some of those drawers, clean up the spider webs and start posting some old stuff.
Who knows..., maybe it can inspire someone.
